Bamboozled! Workshop (1-2 hours - All ages)
What will we be doing?
A flute? A xylophone? Drumsticks and pan-pipes? All made of bamboo? Bambingo bambino! In this hands-on workshop, kids will learn how to make a mixture of woodwind and percussive instruments made almost entirely out of bamboo!
Kids will learn about the material and biological properties of bamboo, its various uses in modern day construction, and discover why it makes such a great natural resource to make make incredible instruments and structures with!
By the end of this workshop, kids will walk away with their very own percussive and melodic instrument.
